The author of the song from the trailer of Fallout 4 sues the publisher of the game

Dion DiMucci - the author of The Wanderer, who appeared in one of the Fallout 4 promotional material, decided to sue the game publisher because he thought the song was inappropriate.

The Fallout series is extremely popular, among other things, with the proper use of music to create a post-apocalyptic climate. It seems, however, that when creating the mood in Fallout 4, the creators of the cycle could forget a bit. Vocalist Dion DiMucci sued the publisher of the game - ZeniMax, because it allegedly used his 1961 song - The Wanderer, in promotional material, not verifying whether the artist is favoring their content.

The musician claims that ZeniMax did not bother to honor the terms of the agreement, according to which DiMucci had the right to oppose the use of his song in the trailer. In his view, The Wanderer Live Action Trailer glorifies violence. But he does not mind the game itself - simply points out that the promotional material itself illustrates the protagonist's violence as a sport instead of focusing on the fight for survival.

DiMucci wants ZeniMax to remove the trailer from the network, and also to pay him a million dollars in damages. The musician also claims that the publisher has denied him the right to negotiate a royalty.
