Covid 19 status in Ghana -06/08/2020

in Steem Africa4 years ago

The first two cases in Ghana were confirmed on 13 March 2020, when two people returned from Norway and Turkey,
immediately after the outbreak in Ghana the nation went into full lockdown but that didnt stop the virus from spreading in the country.

The number of people infected here in Ghana are 9,462 as of 6 June 2020 with 44 deaths and 3547 recoveries here in Ghana, as i said above the Government has been very cautious with this disease . The lockdown was lifted partially after two weeks of total lockdown .
As i am a teacher i have been affected greatly by the lockdown but we all know our students lives matter so we have to comply with the lockdown.

As of June 1st the nation has lifed the lockdown due to the fear of an economic crackdown currently religious congregations , churches , and schools have been reopened ( but only final year students are allowed to go back to school) . Also the there is a 1 hour limit placed on social gatherings also the government has provided PPEs to major organizations to help them

That is the little thing going on in Ghana thanks guys for taking the time to read my post.

Thank you for participating. The issue in Ghana is still manageable. I never knew that the final year students were allowed to go back to school in Ghana. That's a good step, but hope it won't increase the spread of the virus.
