Hạ Long Bay, Việt Nam (taken with phone)

I've heard mixed reviews about Ha Long Bay. But I've always wanted to go. It looks really pretty, but I've been told it's right in the middle of a shipping lane, so the water isn't the cleanest.

Would you recommend going?

Beautiful country but many people are really dumb always trying to rip off tourists and blaming them for everything wrong in their lifes, don't get me wrong I love some Vietnamese folks and even made friends but most of them are not like them. Pollution is everywhere and the currupt communist government doesn't care as long as they get rich, really a shame. Tourist return rate is really low due to that.

One old woman tried to sell me donuts for 500,000 dong and put them on my lap, I gave it back. She kept doing it, and I kept giving them back. Eventually, she went down to 50,000 dong and I bought them.
