YouTube has removed 83 million videos in three months!
Free video streaming site YouTube has removed 83 million videos for violation of the policy from October to December 2012.
According to the YouTube report, the number of complaints received from YouTube users over sexually explicit videos during that time is 91 million. The number of content that has been alleged as hatred and repressive content is 47 million.
Most of the allegations have come from India, the United States and Brazil, the BBC report said.
According to YouTube, their algorithm detected 67 million videos. These videos are then viewed and deleted by moderators.
In the report, there is no information released on how many inappropriate videos have been reported or deleted on inappropriate platform YouTube Kids.
The company has announced the launch of a 'Reporting Dashboard' in the user's account. This allows users to know about the video status of their complaint.
