"Amaze Yourself" - Special edition CineVlog - Starring DNEWS!

Comfort zones are dangerous. They will kill your creativity and hold you back from becoming the person you're truly meant to be. They will snuff out that spark that keeps you going.

I've been on steemit for around 7 months and interacted with a ton of people but nothing has been as beneficial as getting out of my comfort zone and actually meeting members of the platform outside of the blockchain. Back in June I had the opportunity to hang out with the one and only @dnews - I shot some behind the scenes footage for him while he did an engagement photoshoot. We hit it off right away. Afterwards we had some laughs / ate some Wendy's and the rest is history. This video is from another engagement shoot in July.

Despite how I may come across - I'm actually a very shy person who at time suffers from crippling levels of anxiety - Which means that meeting new people is usually very hard for me. Around the time Vince and I met up I was in the deepest part of my comfort zone. Nothing anyone did could get me out of it. That all changed.

Vince is without question one of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever met. Since our first interactions he's been a mentor and friend. Consistently pushing me. Offering encouragement - Constructive criticisms and words of wisdom. His passion for his craft and attitude toward life is inspiring and contagious. Thank you for everything you've done for me bro. So - To all my fellow steemians - I Challenge you to get out there and build relationships with other users - live laugh love - create - engage - Nurture each others spark - Help eachother grow - Build your spark into a raging fire - One that drives you - Gives you a reason to wake up early and stay up late. Try new things - you'll be surprised you very well might amaze yourself.
