We say the same in Italian. "Ci dormo sopra" It means cuddling a thought until you have clear what you really think.
That's a good idiom. I love your country. The culture, food and wine. Last time I was there I discovered that I really enjoy opera. Can't wait to visit again.
You're welcome! You'd better hurry up as there might be some problems for entering the country due to Brexit ;-) Just joking lol :-)
I would love to teach in Italy, but I don't think English teachers get paid a lot there. After Brexit, I guess I won't be able to get a job there anyway. I'm glad I don't live in the UK at the moment with all the uncertainty and debate about Brexit.
'The boss said he's tell me tomorrow if I got the job or not. He had to sleep on it.' will be an example! hope you have a nice holiday :)
Really good example :) I'll just correct your grammar a little in your first sentence: The boss said he'll tell...
Hope you're having a great weekend too.
I have no idea, so I'll sleep on it and write the sentence tommorow :D
Fun way to learn some english :)
Great example. Keep "polishing" your English :)
I want to mention this before you run into problems in the future... do you own the copyright on Dreamstime.com or use it with permission?
Yes. I have permission, but I'll state that in future posts and make it clearer. I also sell my images on Dreamstime and other sites, so I think it's very important to respect copyright. Thanks for pointing that out :)
