Greetings dear community, again taking up writing on my blog, are all welcome, after a few days without being here, after all this we all know, I bring this topic.

Knowing that it is not a skill that is known as "assertiveness". The more assertive we have, the greater the security we have in ourselves. is an assertive person? Well, it is someone who knows how to express their wishes in a kind way, respecting whoever is in front of them and always being direct, nothing of going around with detours.

The rights of others are as important as our own. That is why we must learn to be assertive and determine when we should say "No" and in what moments we must say yes and accept the invitation of others. It is about knowing how to defend our rights, without the intention of hurting or harming anyone.

Sometimes we can think that saying "no" is about bad people and that we are being unpleasant. But it is necessary to know how to establish limits.

The word "no" has a bad image, because we almost always associate it with rebellion, lack of collaboration, indisposition, ill will and dissociation.

But using the "No" wisely is excellent for saving time and represents positive aspects such as: physical health, mental health, concentration, accident prevention and sanctity.

How:

Physical Health:

Because when we learn to say no to those foods that harm us, even if they look very provocative, we avoid being overweight, high cholesterol levels and other complications at the health level.

If we only said "No" to what we should not eat or drink, we would have a better time.

Mental health:

Because when we say yes to many activities and then the time does not give us to fulfill them all, or we do them half-heartedly, then we get bad, we get stressed, we get filled with anxiety and then, when we fail, we get frustrated.

If we only said "No" to what we can not do, we would have a better time.

Concentration:

Because when we try to focus on too many things at the same time we really do not focus on any. And although it seems that we are physically engaged in a single task, the truth is that mentally we are in several.

With the body we are in one part and with the mind in another. And this happens because there is so much that needs to be done that while we develop task number five of the day, our mind is busy with tasks six and seven.

It is better to focus, to put body and mind on what I am doing, to fix all my attention on one thing.

If we said "No" to what we can not concentrate on, we would have a better time.

Accident prevention;

Because if we refuse to get into the car of someone irresponsible, or refuse to drink liquor, or smoke, or inject crap, we are avoiding years of suffering and misfortune for us, for our family and for society.

If we only said "No" to dangerous offers, we would have a better time.

Holiness:

Because if we learn to say "No" to temptations, then we will not harm other people, or harm communion with God, or ruin our testimony, or make our lives miserable.

If we only said "No" to temptations, we would have a better time.

The word "No" is also positive, do not be embarrassed or afraid to use it, because if you take advantage of it, you will save time and have a better time.

The basis of everything is to feel that we bring value to society and that we must be respected.

In addition, we have to be clear about our foundations, our scale of values to know what we want to do and what others do not.

Knowing ourselves will be necessary to reach this point. Knowing how to say that it is not impossible if we are not clear about our values.

Genesis 3: 1-7 Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR1960)

Disobedience of man

1 But the serpent was cunning, more than all the animals of the field that Jehovah God had made; who said to the woman: So God has said to you: Do not eat of every tree in the garden?

2 And the woman answered the serpent: We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden;

3 But of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, God said: You shall not eat of it, nor touch it with it, lest you die.

4 Then the serpent said to the woman, You will not die;

5 But God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.

6 And the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a desirable tree to attain wisdom; and he took of its fruit, and ate; and she gave also to her husband, who ate as well as she did.

7 Then both their eyes were opened, and they knew that they were naked; Then they sewed fig leaves and made aprons.
