Take care of the fraternal relationship between your children

And Cain said to his brother Abel: Let's go out into the field. And it came to pass that while they were in the field, Cain rose up against his brother Abel, and killed him. 9 And the Lord said to Cain, Where is Abel your brother? And he replied: I don't know. Am I my brother's keeper? Genesis 4: 8-9 King James Version (KJV)

I am the mother of two beautiful children, whom I love and appreciate very much, which allows me to take maximum care of them. However, both my husband and I ensure that a friendly and respectful brotherly relationship is maintained between them.

Parents have great responsibility for the way their children relate to each other. Parents should avoid at most the preference of one child over the other, because this may in the future damage the good relationships that may exist between them.

Children have to be taught what is good and what is bad. Parents more than teaching this, they should model it in front of their children.
Children must be taught not to be selfish and envious. In addition, parents should try to teach their children to live under the fear of God and above all, to give God the best they can have. The relationship with God is vital and should be the first thing that children should be taught as soon as they are aware of their environment.

Eve and Adam had taught both Cain and Abel that God should be given the best offering, which Cain did not do, so God was more pleased with Abel's offering than with Cain.

This situation changed Cain's relationship with his brother Abel, which allowed Cain's heart to fill with envy and jealousy. So much was Cain's anger against Abel that he ended up taking his life.

God looked with distaste at what Cain did to his brother, which also brought disgrace to Cain's life.

If we parents do not take care of the relationship between siblings and even their lives with respect to their relationship with God, the family can fall into disgrace and death.

The brotherly relationship is very important to God. God claimed Cain for his brother Abel, who ignored and told God that he was not responsible for taking care of his brother.

God warns parents that they must be more vigilant with their children so that the brotherly relationship is not broken and the love between them remains.
