My message today is related to the great interest that God has for us as his children. So when a father is interested in the health of his son or we have friends who show a sincere interest in us, in the same way God as a good father is interested when things go wrong or well in his life. God loves us and his interest in us is very great. I like the biblical portion of Psalm 31: 7 that says:

I will rejoice and rejoice in your mercy, because you have seen my affliction; You have known my anguished soul.

What awakens the joy in the psalmist is the mercy of God. God's love is abundantly compassionate. God looks at our afflictions and stops with his gaze and open arms to extend his mercy and help us out of the distress situation we may be living. God is not like that priest and Levite who when they saw that man lying on the ground because some thieves had assaulted him, the priest and the Levite passed by and did not help him. God does not act that way, God stops in your affliction and takes enough time to help you and get up, and give you all the necessary attention. God acts like that Samaritan who, seeing the man lying on the ground, came to help and help him. God cares for you and me; Because God is merciful. That is why the psalmist says: "I will rejoice and rejoice in your mercy."

His soul and soul may be distressed by some unwanted situation, but we can trust the Lord because his Word says "God knows the distressed soul." If God knows the anguished soul, he knows perfectly well what causes affliction and God knows what treatment anguish requires, to give us the respective medicine and get out of the affliction.

We can be sure that God looks at our affliction and knows the anguish that devours us, and knows how he will provide us with his help.
