EMPOWERING UPCOMING STEEMIANS

Hi reader,
For some time now, I talked to people about steemit (more like a steem campaign I decided to just carry out with some group of friends)and assisted them create an account here on steemit. This I did because of the awesome transformation steemit brought to my life, so I felt it'd do same for everyone else, that's why I started the campaign. Lately, I've been going through new posts on steemit, checking out people's introductory posts mostly, I realized that most of these posts where nice and interesting, but no much upvotes(mostly less than 3), which is not encouraging the authors. When one doesn't get appreciated for efforts put into something, it's kinda heart breaking.
there's this write up I get to see on peoples posts, "come for the money, stay for the people". What does this post talk about? , who are the people are being referred to?.
all whales here on steemit were once newbies, once came for the money, so now we earn, why don't we help others climb up. It's not necessarily about sbd give away (the bear never gives it's offsprings fish at certain a stage, it teaches them how to catch fishes). Your upvote counts, each time you upvote a post, you give someone a reason to move on, you put a smile on one's face, that's the hidden fact and also the money made here is generated from the upvote , It doesn't take a thing to just hit the upvote for nice and interesting posts you come across or even a nice comment could be of help.
Whales, y'all have the money and I believe y'all are still here today for the newbies, help them stand, Help give them a reason to put in more effort. We are a community, one family, irrespective of our different backgrounds and countries, there's no "us" without "u", we all need each other. So please once in a while we all could just go through new posts, check out nice posts, upvote, leave comments resteem if you don't wanna upvote, it really helps too. It's not that much of a work load.
I really wanna appreciate some people who help me get up to this stage, @xpressng, @stach, @ejimai,@ewouso, @mykolan and all of you who demonstrated the "come for the money, stay for the people " thingy, I'm really grateful. I hope to meet more of such people here on this platform. Thank y'all once again for your love and support and also more blessings to y'all as you help newbies stand firm and together we can build a better steemit community.
