Now, I bring I film I had been meaning to watch since last year but only got around watching it a month or so ago. I was mainly interested because I like the director's other works and I heard it had a killer soundtrack. It does.
Baby Driver an american action crime film written and directed by Edgar Wright. The movie tells the story of Baby (Ansel Elgort), who suffers from tinnitus since he was a child and is constantly listening to music to block it. Baby is coerced to work as a getaway driver for a Kingpin and his ever-changing crews but he wishes to get out.
The film is an absolute fun and thrilling ride from the beginning, with clever and very original (true to Wright's style) shots and sequences that will make you feel the rush vibe the movie gives.
But it's the sound effect (and sound editing), along with its very awesome soundtrack, where this film finds its heart, all behind an interesting and compelling story of the lead character. Like, it's not just music and sound for the sake of it, but it makes sense, given the writing of Baby's character.
