Un domingo color arte.
Hola queridos amigos!
El color, la luz y la ausencia de ésta, el movimiento y las sombras suelen ofrecer imágenes que aunque no logramos ver a simple vista, la fotografía suele revelarlas. Es así como el domingo pasado fui a ver una obra de teatro en la que mi hijo era uno de los actores participantes y obtuve, además de una tarde super agradable, unas fotografías muy interesantes que quiero compartir con ustedes.
La obra trataba acerca de la vida de los jóvenes y los diferentes retos que deben afrontar, desde las fracturas internas de hogares disfuncionales hasta su propia lucha, esa que libra cada uno de ellos en su interior. Ah!, por cierto, el nombre de la obra era, "Soy joven, ¿Y qué?"
Cada cabeza es un mundo y cada hogar un universo en el que muchas veces, estos mundos, no logran alinearse y ponerse de acuerdo dejando la parte más vulnerable en soledad y desconcierto.

Colour, light and the absence of light, movement and shadows often offer images that although we can't see with the naked eye, photography often reveals them. This is how last Sunday I went to see a play in which my son was one of the actors and I obtained, in addition to a very pleasant evening, some very interesting photographs that I want to share with you.
The play was about young people's lives and the different challenges they have to face, from the internal fractures of dysfunctional homes to their own struggle, the one that each one of them is fighting within themselves. Oh, by the way, the name of the play was, "I'm young, so what?"
Each head is a world and each home a universe in which these worlds often fail to align and agree, leaving the most vulnerable in loneliness and bewilderment.
A veces, ya en nuestro rol de padres, se nos olvida las muchas veces que en nuestra adolescencia y juventud había momentos de conflictos internos, de dudas, de cosas sin entender y necesitamos a alguien en quien apoyarnos y pasaba, que muchos de nosotros contaban con sus padres pero muchos otros no y era en estos momentos cuando nos tocaba la preocupación porque comenzábamos a ver a nuestro amigo tomar consejos de quienes necesitaban ser aconsejados y hacer cosas de las cuales terminaban arrepentidos.
Sometimes, already in our role as parents, we forget how many times in our adolescence and youth there were moments of internal conflicts, of doubts, of things we didn't understand and we needed someone to support us and it happened that many of us had our parents but many others didn't and it was in these moments when we became worried because we began to see our friend taking advice from those who needed to be advised and doing things that they ended up regretting.
Recuerdo a papá decir, "el mal no se te va a vestir como algo que de plano puedas rechazar. El mal siempre se va a presentar como algo tentador y difícil de resisrse". Así sucede con las drogas, el alcohol y todas estas sustencias que "te alejan de la realidad", tanto que en ocasiones te llevan fuera de la propia vida y solo queda un despojo de lo que antes era una persona.
I remember Dad saying, "Evil is not going to dress itself up as something you can flatly refuse. Evil will always present itself as something tempting and hard to resist. So it is with drugs, alcohol and all these sustenances that "take you away from reality", so much so that sometimes they take you out of your own life and you are left with nothing more than a spoil of what used to be a person.
