Diary Game for 12/05/2024| My Birthday

Hello, Steemians from all over the world. Greetings everyone. I wish you all a happy Sunday. Let me share with you about my day.

Morning

I woke up this morning with a special kind of joy in my heart. Oh yes! I was happy and grateful to God. Today is my birthday. So I couldn't be more happy and grateful to God for adding another year to me. So I took time to praise and worship God during my devotion.

When I was done praying, I prepared myself and went to church. I like that today my birthday is on Sunday. It made it more special for me. I was able to spend time in God’s presence and commit the new year into God’s hands.
I joined the choir to sing as a chorister, and I sang with all my heart, “Take Me as I am” being the title of the song.

In the Church.

We listened to the world of God in church, and the message was centered on eternity and we were made to understand that there are two destinations in eternity. And we can only go to one. Our lives here on earth determine where we will spend our eternity.
The service was dismissed by past 11 am.
I snapped pictures and headed home.

AFTERNOON
I got home and decided to cook what I'd eat since there was no food.
So I selected beans to cook with rice.

I discovered the kerosene in the stove had finished, so I rushed and bought some.
Soon, the food was ready, and I ate it and rested.

Since I didn't have a special occasion to celebrate my birthday, I just spent time at home. I picked up my phone and surfed through my Facebook account. I noticed several friends had commented on my birthday post. They were all wishing me well. I was excited going through all their prayers and wishes for me. I felt special. It made my day special too. I also received calls from friends and family members all wishing me well. So I can say I had a special and lovely day.
