The sofa of dreams

Once upon a time in a small town there was a boy named Mateo who was known by everyone as the great dreamer. Mateo spent hours and hours lying on an old sofa in his grandmother's attic, a sofa so old that its springs creaked with every movement and its tapestry told stories of times past.

One day, as the rain gently tapped on the windows, Mateo lay down on the couch and closed his eyes. Suddenly, he found himself in a world of adventure where the couch was his spaceship, taking him to unknown planets and distant galaxies. With each dream, the sofa seemed to come to life, its colors becoming brighter and the worn threads weaving new stories.

On one of his trips, Mateo landed on a planet where everything was edible. Chocolate mountains, lemonade rivers, and cotton candy trees adorned the landscape. Upon tasting a caramel cloud, he couldn't help but exclaim, "This is delicious!"

But not everything was fun in Mateo's dreams. He had also learned valuable lessons about friendship, courage and kindness. On each adventure he found new friends who taught him the importance of sharing and caring for others.

One afternoon, upon waking up from a particularly exciting dream, Mateo heard his grandmother calling him for dinner. He ran down the stairs and, as he sat down at the table, he realized that the food his grandmother had prepared had a special flavor. It was as if every bite was filled with the adventures he had lived in his dreams.

"Grandma, this is delicious!" Mateo exclaimed with a smile. And while he shared stories of his dreams with his grandmother, the old couch in the attic was still there, waiting to take Mateo on his next big adventure.

And so, between dreams and reality, Mateo learned that even a very old sofa can be the beginning of something wonderful. Because for a dreamer any place can be magical if it is seen with the eyes of the heart.
