A friendly environment in a family context means an ambiance that is depicted by affection, warmth, reception, mutual support and respect, peace and harmony. It's actually a zone that is free from oppression, suppression, hatred, malice, jealousy and maltreatment. Every individual has the privilege of expressing themselves without fear.
A friendly environment contributes a lot to the bonding of family in many ways, namely:
When an environment is friendly, it encourages openness in communication among family members without being biased. Individuals are able to express themselves, their grievances, and fear with no form of bullying and discrimination which fosters harmony among them.
A friendly environment creates a serene atmosphere by facilitating understanding among the individuals of the family in their various dealings with each other, and they are quick to forgive each other without holding grudges.
When an environment is friendly, it gives everyone the privilege to share their dreams and their pursuits, because the members are ready to give their support either financially, physically and otherwise to the accomplishment of the members' goals.
A friendly environment fosters prosperity and abundance in the family because everyone is inspired to indulge in a legitimate business to create wealth through their businesses and skills.
An environment is said to be friendly in the family context when there is mutual trust among the members. Trust is the ability to believe in one's dependability. When people in a family are reliable in almost all things, it builds trust. They are certain that they can't be betrayed or backstabbed by any member of the family when they confide in them.
Now that we know the numerous boons of a friendly environment, it is expedient to know how it can be created. A friendly environment is created through spending quality time together, openness in communication, setting rules and regulations, setting common goals, appreciating one another and giving the necessary support to each other. In doing all of these, a friendly environment is assured.
Since it is one thing to create something and entirely another thing to keep, how can it be kept for the good of everyone in the family? A friendly environment can be sustained through proper education of family members of the importance of a friendly environment. Knowledge about it will drive everyone's desire to develop a friendly environment in a family space.
