The force of prayer
It's a common saying that a prayerless Christian is a powerless.
But it's actually more than that. A prayerless Christian lacks weapon for attack and defence. He has ignorantly surrendered to the devil. Prayer is a way of engaging the supernatural In your battles. When Prayer is lacking in the life of a believer, the devil takes total control, and even God backs out. If so many people could channel the energy that they use in complaining into praying, their lives would be so much better than it presently is.
GET SKILLFUL WITH YOUR PRAYER
-Be persistent and consistent with your prayers: So many people get tired of praying because they feel they don't get results. But that's a strategy of the devil to kill the prayer life of believers. He doesn't necessarily fight their prayers. Rather, he fights their mindsets by introducing negative thoughts into their minds so they unbelief. Persistency and consistency are very important keys for getting results from prayers.
-Pray with faith : Hebrews 11:1 defined faith as the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith commits God to his promises. So many times, Jesus was moved by faith during his ministry. God loves to see that his own trust him. Faith is an easy of doing away with worry. It's not possible to impress God, but it's possible to move God to action. That's exactly what faith does.
Pray giving thanks : The kind of prayer that multiplied 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes so it could feed thousands was a prayer of thanksgiving. It wasn't even a long one, it was a very short one consisting few words. That's how powerful the prayer of thanksgiving is. God loves to see men that are grateful for what he has done for them. It's not possible to encourage God, but it's possible to involve God more deeply.
-Pray with vows:
"And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head. 1samuel 1:11" Hannah involved God through her vows and he had no option than to show up. And when he showed up, he shows off. Our Vow tells God how deeply we need what we're asking him for.
-pray with your worship: This one moves God so much. Imagine you have a child and whenever he comes to you all he does is ask. He keeps on asking and making demands and that's what he does every time he encounters you. It's really sad and annoying, right? But that's what so many of us do to God, the most high himself. There should be times you pray without even asking a thing; all you're doing is just worshipping. Tell him how powerful he his, tell him how much your life depends on him, tell him you can't do without him, tell him how loving he is because he really is. This is the kind of prayer that builds a good relationship with him. Worship makes God speak. Prayer is deeper than what so many of us do as prayer Is not complete. Prayer is much deeper. Prayer is fellowship. God loves Communication so much. He doesn't just wanna listen to you, he wants to speak to you even more than you want to speak to him. That's why it's easier to hear God during prayer than any other activity.
-Pray in the holy spirit: People usually say that it's not compulsory to pray in tongues, and it often causes arguments. It's true that it's not compulsory to pray in tongues, but it's a way of praying without limitation. When you pray in tongues, the holy spirit helps you to pray. Our human senses do not know all we ought to pray for. But when you pray in the spirit, The Holy Spirit gives you utterances and helps you pray the right way. Prayer is a mental stress to people that cannot pray in the holy Ghost. That's why so many people don't enjoy praying. Praying in the spirit is surrendering to the holy spirit to lead you to pray.

Truly, Prayer is a place of 'altar' where we get things fixed in the realm of the Spirit. And we know the spiritual controls the physical.
