The call to Christianity
It is high time we all realize that the call to Christianity isn't a call for ourselves. It isn't a call to a selfish living but it is a call for us to live for Him and the people He sent us to.

Being saved wasn't for us to come and work only for ourselves but it was for us to come and work for others, it is a symbolic representation of Jesus Christ in our generation and dispensation.
In the same way, the aim of Joseph becoming a ruler in the land of Egypt and a father was not only for his good but for both his family and nation at large.
We were called out of sin not for our selfish gain but for that of our families and nations to come after us. For every one that God has saved, God is not saving every one of us to go to heaven only because heaven is only an assurance that needs none of our effort to be there, God is saving us to save others too.
Just like Joseph, every one of us has a reason where we were saved and picked out from sin. Joseph's mission was to preserve the posterity of Moses and to serve the people.
The call to Christianity is a call to responsibility, a call to be responsible for other people's lives. The reason why we were brought into the fold wasn't only for our own good but for us to serve Him and the people around us.
On the final day, not only are we going to be accountable for only our sins but also our works while on earth. Our bone of contention shouldn't be about how many people we bring to church, how many people we preach daily, those aren't actually wrong, they are good to do as Christians, but our bone of contention should be how to do the call of God which was why He saved you and work on our purpose.
