Writer's block: Major challenge on steemit
Before I start, I am not yet a good blogger or fantastic writer on steemit and generally, but that hasn't stop me from working my ass out daily on how to some degree perfect my writing skills and be successful on Steemit.
The success of some great bloggers in Nigeria such as Linda Ikeji, Jide Ogunsanya, Uche Eze made many wannabies youths to venture into blogging, thus many blog sites were created with aim of emulating them as me and my friend did with 9jaassembly (Lol) though we were testing what blogging is like. But with Steemit you don't need to create your own blogging websites and you will start trying to emulate and admire successful and great writers on Steemit
We all know that Steemit.com is.....
Steemit is a social news service which runs a blogging and social networking website on top of a blockchain database, known as Steem.
Now.....
Based on the definition above and as I noted on my post "I Doff My Hat For Steemit.com", Steemit provides anyone who registered with an already made blog page, the opportunity to publish content and the potential to make money. Because of this, there are and there will be hundreds or thousands of new steemians every day who intend to blog.
Unfortunately, there are some significant challenges that most new steemians face, and in many cases the challenges are significant enough to make them give up. But I just want to discus the one and only major problem all Steemians experience, face or will face. Which is.....
We all will experience what is called WRITER'S BLOCK

After several days, weeks or months of writing on steemit, it may be difficult to come up with new, fresh ideas that are engaging and compelling. We all face this situation once in a while whether you are an expert in writing or a newbie and whether you have a niche or not. We normally find it difficult to come up with a topic or what to write. Thus, you just do not know what to write, you're not in the mood, and you do not know when you'll get the mood.
How to solve it:
This writer's block can be very dangerous, especially if you do not find it quickly or work yourself out of it. So to overcome the writer's block you need to read and read because you cannot produce without consumption. You should take time to look for inspiration and ideas. By reading other steemians posts and examining trending topics you can break out of the dreaded writer’s block. Also read anything that comes your way with openness to new ideas that can contribute to what you want to write.
This is the major problem I normally face and I will overcome that with time.

Apart from reading, another thing is to write down ideas immediately they come to mind. I use a note app to do dt on my fon. It really helps
Yeah dear, ideas are sometimes God answers to our prayer and unlike anything else they can easily be lost to forgetfulness easily.
Last month i did a practice of generating and writing down at least 3 ideas daily for 30 days and the result was amazing. It also resulted in me having dozens of posts ideas to write on to overcome writer block

You're a good example of a hard-working Steemian! I totally agree that reading is a good way of coming up with new ideas. I do that very often. If you lead a very normal life it is quite hard to find something interesting to blog about everyday, there's only so much people want to hear about your family, your pets, your job. Engaging in conversations with other Steemians is also beneficial.
