Please Sign Petition: Stop Special Interest Spending; Pass "One Subject At a time" Act - Sen Rand Paul & Rep Mia Love
It's budget time in Washington.
The best time to negotiate hardball on a Congress that is already up against a wall.
We are Petitioning to force Congress to deal with one of the key issues responsible for egregious laws being loaded onto totally unrelated legislation. We see tens of thousands of legislative items added into thousands of pages of legislation that NO-ONE in Congress ever reads!
Can we say 'Patriot Act' ? -or how about the NDAA - Where they claim they can black bag, rendition and torture political dissidents.

Mia Love, (R) Utah & Rand Paul,(R) Kentucky (114th Congress) co-sponsored House and Senate Legislation proposing 'One Subject at a time Act' - (H.R. 4335 114th Congress) The Bill was referred to committee on Jan 6, 2016, has attracted 17 House cosponsors, (all Republicans), and [STILL] awaits a vote in the House Judiciary Committee.
No cosponsors have signed on in the Senate.
This legislation would require Congress to vote on single parts of legislation at a time; not allowing for "Riders" i.e. unrelated pieces of legislation, pork barrel projects and other Special Interest spending to be added in by stealth. In this way they've compromised the nation into insolvency.
A nation and its people are collateral for the Debt.
YOUR money and property is grist for the Bankster's mill if they get away with another bankruptcy like 1933
Help Stop Legislation without Representation
What Bankruptcy would look like when alas we wake from the American Dream:
Desperate times call for extraordinary measures
Let's at least try to get this to a vote so we can flesh out the naysayers in the Mid-Terms...
Please sign our Petition - Help Stop Legislation without Representation
Thanks,
R.John
