All That Glitters

I woke up to these winter wonderland views around noon today and quickly dug out warm clothes and went for a walk with my camera.

Everywhere the sun touches the pure snow, it glitters, and I'm a little magpie who likes all the shiny things. It's hard to capture the glitter on camera, but in real life, it's amazing.

I'll have to go back to the city tonight and I'm afraid it's not nearly as pretty in there. I really hope the weather stays consistently below zero and we would get a lot of snow soon. Though it would be better if we first get really cold temperatures, and snow after that, because then the lakes would freeze more evenly and we can go ice-skating on natural ice!

Now I'm inside eating creamy salmon soup and drinking tea, enjoying a pretty awesome winter day!

Shot with the Nikon D7200 and Sigma 50-100mm f/1.8.

Really nice. Is it normal that winter comes so early where you live?
Stay worm

It’s not completely unusual but without confirming from the official statistics, the snow is usually here to stay starting from December. Christmas is always white!

Great shots! With the lighting and scenery. It looks so inviting. Makes me want to sit with a friend outside and talk over hot coffee.

Outside, are you sure!? It’s -10 degrees Celsius 😅

living room sounds more cozy. Coffee anyone?

Oh my god! This is so beautiful! And you photograph it well❄️❄️❄️❄️ Stay warm ❤️

Okay, you made me like snow a little bit more👀
