Captured moments of everyday magic

in #photography7 years ago (edited)

One thing that I always do during a holiday season is - looking at the photos I have taken.
I enjoy taking photos, of my family, friends, people I love, places that have a special place in my heart...
I have many photos and I like to go through them over and over, that is something that I am never tired of. For me, it's like having an opportunity to experience and live some moments one more time.
So, this year I've been doing the same thing and I noticed something that I would like to share with you.
In each folder with photos, from each journey, each place I've been to, from every period of year, I have photos of sky!
My roomate used to laugh whenever I looked through our window, I always say: ''Oh, look at the sky, it's beautiful!''
And, now when I think about it there are two things I could always enjoy, no matter what: sea and sky.
Sea and sky - both so limitless, free, unpredictable, wild and beautiful at the same time. Every time I look at them I think of those words from the movie American Beauty:

But it's hard o stay mad when there is so much beauty in the world.

It really is. And our life is getting more and more chaotic, fast, nervous, we rarely stop to just enjoy the beauty around us.

I picked some of the photos I would like you to see:

Nice Shots congratulations

Thank you! :-)

Which one is your favorite?

Well, maybe I could say that my favourite photos are from my room, just a glance through the window always makes me smile. But, the photos from Visegrad always inspire me in all sort of ways, it is a trully special place. I will write only about Visegrad soon. :-)

Sounds good. I'll read it for sure. Sorry, I couldn't help this silly urge to self-promote and uploaded a view from my window, taken at a very good moment.
Hope you don't mind. IMG_20161002_235649.jpg
