There is really no way you can mention or define evil that you will not relate it to supernatural events or take references from the Bible.
The truth is that no one becomes evil or does evil without a cause or a backing, most of the time it is a result of negative influence.
There can be no excuse for evil because no one wakes up to be an evil man, there must be something stirring it up and it takes time to mature.
I don't think anyone knows the actual origin of evil or the first man to do evil, but one thing is for sure that evil has been before the existence of man. So that man becomes the doer of evil.
