A Graphite Portrait

I had a very eventful day and on top of that I was spared the stress of cooking this evening. Lucky for me, a friend came over and helped with making the dish. This have me spare time to draw despite my tight schedule. I quickly went through my gallery once she was started and found a number of sketches I would love to try. I pick this one in particular to see how well I would express the depth. It didn’t go as deep as I wanted it though but it got a pass mark.
