This one literally made me LOL in my office. Many posts about why this isn't a ponz...
Boy would it be nice if they gave me the ability to adjust my voting power in the UI! Only been asking for months now...
you can adjust your voting power? did you accidentally turn it down and now my reward is smaller? :D :D
take a look into https://steemit.com/steemit/@apes/6-sins-to-doom-your-post
Its a social network that pays you
But who pays the social network?
Why do not you call the pyramid banks? Advertisers, who will buy STEEM dial pad when a huge audience. STEEM social network is growing very fast.
Everyone buying STEEM's on the exchanges?
You can buy directly on the site with BTC too. But what exactly is the incentive? Holding Steem Power? That too is dependent on new money, right?
Holding Steem Power gives you 1) Influence. Your up votes are worth more and earn more. 2) Interest to protect you from the inflation of Steems (in the form of new Steems) constantly being created to reward users.

Took me three weeks, but you`re damn right. Are you THE gekko?
maybe or maybe not 8]
well if yes, is Bobsurplus here? He could repent his Sins and employ his skills for a constructive cause for a change.
Could turn into a nice "Saul to Paul" post. Shittalking Killerwhale Pumper turns into Benevolent Whale Samaritan.
Look at it in another way: Steemit might be a huge competitor to traditional news websites!
LOL. Nice. And absolutely on the money.
and what about mixing social media with ponzi scheme?, best of both worlds
as I see it, it depends on what else gets built out on the blockchain. if Steemit is the ONLY app and doesn't end up generating any revenue streams other than investment capital, yes. if development is accelerated to leverage the tech infrastructure and crypto ecosystem for other revenue-generating applications, then its a completely different ballgame...
Perhaps both? They are not mutually exclusive. ;)
Good point :D
in the near future we can integrate ads in steemit.. (buzzfeed revenue 2015 is 167 million)
is that explained somewhere?
