SEC17/W2| While making decisions, what do you prefer to follow: heart or mind?
Hello all steemit friends wherever you are, good afternoon and best wishes always to everyone... On this occasion I am back to participate in a contest held by the Incredible India Community in the Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 17 Week 2 with the contest theme: "While making decisions, what do you prefer to follow: heart or mind?".
Each person has a different way of making decisions, especially decisions that concern the future and influence future life. When making every important decision, especially regarding honor and dignity, you must listen to your heart. In other words, when making a decision, you must think carefully about all the possibilities that could occur. You must make the best decisions with a clean heart and clear mind so that the results do not harm yourself and others. The heart and mind certainly cannot be separated when making important decisions.
In my personal opinion, it would be unethical to make decisions based on only one aspect of these two important things. Because of that, I tend to make decisions by thinking carefully while still taking into account whether the decision taken has a good impact or even worse. A decision that will be taken from a clear heart and mind will certainly produce the best results and have a positive impact. Likewise, if you don't involve your heart and mind, I think the decision will have a bad impact.
But that's all in my personal opinion, maybe people will have different opinions and ways of thinking in making decisions. What is certain is that all choices lie in each of our hearts, whether to prioritize the mind or the heart in making decisions. All of this certainly has its own impact, whether positive or even negative, that we will have to bear in the future. A decision taken is binding, meaning that the decision is not born suddenly. However, the best decision is born from a mindset (mind) and sincerity based on binding decisions and provisions (the heart).
The most important thing in making an important decision is not to be emotional. If emotions are put forward, believe it or not, the decision will be detrimental to all parties. Because of that, both in the family environment and in socializing with the surrounding environment, I always balance the two. I don't want to prioritize emotions or practical matters. Decisions are the result of thoughts that are binding and influence a person's life path. I always put my mind and conscience first in making a decision by always looking at the good or bad impacts.
Making decisions with your mind will certainly be good, as will using your heart. However, I would suggest, especially to a teenager who is still unstable, to balance the two in their daily life. Executing a decision is much more difficult than making the decision itself. Therefore, be wise in making decisions, especially regarding the future. Think clearly with a clean heart and thoughts when acting and making decisions because it will have an impact on the future. Don't let that decision become a bad problem in the future.
Indeed, making a decision is very difficult, especially one that involves the fate of other people. However, no matter how difficult the decision to be made, it will feel easy if we involve a sincere mind and heart. Don't forget to surrender to the decrees of Almighty God and be confident that all decisions taken will go according to expectations. For teenagers, before making a decision, it is best to ask for opinions and advice from people who are older and have experience. Because experience is the best lesson from which we can learn to live a life.

Dear friend you are absolutely right in your point of you and thoughts it's the matter choice and each person has a different way of approach towards making decisions because few persons thoughts that they can make more powerful decisions by the use of heart voices while other thoughts practical life is much more complicated than emotions therfore they rely on the decision of the brain but you consider both for decision making that is obviously more powerful and good for straight life moving. I apprecite your thoughts these are clear and well structured and indeed it shows tye successs of the life.

Hi, you are right one way or another we should try to keep the balance because it will allow us to be fair when making decisions as well. While the heart can play tricks on us, it also allows us to see that human side which is important. And well it also happens that depending on the situation we must follow the reasonableness for our welfare, there are cases of cases.
