Hope you're all well and having a great day. By the Grace of God I'm also well. Today i came up with macro photographs of a insect called Ricaniidae Planthopper. This planthopper was discovered in a sugar cane field. It was perched atop a leaf. When I first saw it, I mistook it for a butterfly. However, after doing some research on the internet, I discovered that it is a planthopper. It has a very small size. It's not visible from a distance. The lines of various hues on its wings are really attractive. Whenever I tried to make a picture of it, it would turn its face away or go to the other side of the leaf. I was lucky that he didn't fly while taking pictures. So I managed to capture some good pictures of it from different angles. Now I'm going to share these pictures with you but before let me share some information about it.
