Tent pole painting process

Today was a productive and fun day. Together with my brother @aril.hatake, we continued the process of painting the tent poles at the Serba Karya Steell workshop. These poles will later be used to set up tents for a big event that is being prepared at Dayah.

We started this work in the morning by cleaning the poles first. Using sandpaper, we made sure the surface of the poles was free from rust and dirt so that the paint could stick perfectly. Although this process took quite a long time, we enjoyed it because it was done while having a casual chat.

After all the poles were cleaned, we started applying the base coat. This paint serves to coat the surface of the poles to make them more durable and the main color can be seen more maximally. This step is very important, especially because the tent will be used outdoors and must be resistant to weather changes. After the base coat dries, we move on to the main paint. The color chosen is a combination of blue, which gives an elegant and sturdy impression. The painting process is carried out with a spray gun to ensure even and neat results. I do not use protective equipment because I am used to working like this, and of course I still maintain my safety.

although sometimes there are splashes of paint that get on the work clothes, this is actually the subject of the fun. @aril.hatake occasionally throws jokes that make the work feel lighter. we also share tips on painting techniques to make the results more professional.

the painting process was completed in the afternoon. the painted poles looked shiny and ready to use. there was an extraordinary sense of satisfaction seeing the results of our work. before taking a break, we cleaned the work equipment and made sure the workshop area remained tidy.

Perfect with our hard work

Today is not only about finishing the job, but also about building togetherness and learning from experience. Technical work like painting teaches us the importance of attention to detail and patience to achieve the best results. I feel proud to be able to work with my brother in the Serba Karya Steell workshop, a place that witnesses our hard work and creativity.

That night, I went home with a feeling of relief. Seeing the tent poles that were ready, I felt even more enthusiastic to welcome the big event that was coming. Hopefully everything will run smoothly as expected.
