Our Little Australian Outback Adventure - Night TWO - Narrung
Hi everyone!
Continuing on a subject of our accommodation, I will try to bring to you description of the place where we camped on our second night. The best thing about this place is that it is free and located right next to the ferry that took us to the other side of the bay. Good thing to know is that it is part of the road service that runs 24/7 and is free of charge. This was a perfect location for our next stop and had toilet facilities, that were in perfect condition. If I was to highlight some issues it would be wind (since it is located so close to water on a open space) and lots of mosquitoes... so make sure to pact some repellent, but in my case they still can find a way to get me. In terms of cooking there are spaces to have open fire and make some great camping food. There wasn't any shops nearby so make sure to have enough supplier and water.
Making some yummy pancake for the family in the morning.

The little town located next to this camping ground is very cute and its main feature is the church that is printed on Australian $50 note and also nearby there is a building with some great paintings on the outside walls.
Hope you enjoyed it

That was a lovely post, you had a real little home from home there. life should be an adventure as specially when you are young and free, before you get tied up in your own prison where you are the guard and the inmate, worth thinking about! always be a free spirit, I'm jealous, regards Gez....
Very true! I wish I will never stop discovering:)
Nice write up and I like the addition of the map at the end.

Whoa those paintings are amazing, skills! Resteemed :)
Thank you! I really like seeing art like this one, especially in the small communities.
Found you on traveldigest, now following.
Great post - how long was your trip? We did 2 months in 2016 but my wife isn't a camper, very surprised in fact I got her to live out of 1 suitcase for that long (and another month in New Zealand)!
You might find my Tahiti-Oz-NZ posts interesting - you can find them on steemitworldmap.
Safe travels.
Very good

Looks fun!
Lovely little read, thanks for that. The art on the walls are just beautiful! 😊
It is good to see what small towns have to offer and more often than we think we will be surprised by it's beauty!
