Balls of steel: How i survive the bear market
Since Bitcoin hit 20K and steem 8 Usd, price decline has been consistent. Today with the price under 0.5 Usd, everyone is panicking as we face a true challenge. I have been on steemit for more than one year and a half and it literally changed my life !
I improved my English and French writing, I learned development using python, I've made a decent amount of money, I've made tons of great friends, I've acquired priceless knowledge, I've, I 've, I've....
Now I'm very proud of belonging to this wonderful community and I found myself here on this platform among you all so I will not give up just yet!
Great future is ahead of us !
Steem blockchain is the busiest blockchain out there, the number of transactions is higher than any other one and that's because of its nature. If you think about other cryptos, they are just digital numbers! They hold no real value except for some of them maybe but the true value of a particular blockchain relies on the community and its users. Today, there is more than one million account registered on steemit, most of them are inactive but more than 10K are still active, I call them the lucky ones! The weak folks will exit steemit and they will miss an opportunity of a lifetime.
In addition, with the official launch of Smart Media Tokens (SMT), there will be countless projects on this blockchain which will attract eventually many investors, in simple words, Steem to the moon!
Are you in for the small run or the long run?
I am not a stakeholder, currently, I have about 2000 steem on my account so I've no idea what is to feel like your money is at high risk, those guys did their due diligence and they probably know what they are doing. For us, the small investors and bloggers, there is no real threat here, in life you gotta take some risks and that's what I did. Die rich or die trying! that's my inspiring motivation! Think about it, if steem price bursts then you will become rich or at least financially stable, in worst case scenarios, you will continue to live your life normally like nothing has ever happened, never forget this if you ever feel afraid !
My advice ?
Simple, hold and don't sell just yet! Price will more likely continue to drop, maybe I will reach 0.15 USD before starting a bullish rally but try to accumulate steem coins as much as possible either by buying or writing great articles. Remember always, put 50 sbd/50 sp as a payment method for your articles because for the moment one SBD can buy you 2 steems, and yes! Don't convert ! just sell your SBDs or keep them for now until future changes.
Finally remember that the crypto market is the most volatile market in existence so first have a life and a decent job that can provide you a consistent source of income, only then you can do some crypto stuff in your free time and never invest more than you can lose!. Last but not least, being a true steemian is being able to stick with your fellow steemians in moments like this and not just using this platform as a money source, community comes first, forever and always ! If nobody sells then we will form a magnificent line of support and the bears will be unable to do anything to harm our beautiful project, Have some balls for fuck's sake !
