What does a person who has saved your life?

For a Dawnielle Davison, a woman from Washington, that person would mean everything.

The story that happened to Davison's life left a lot of excitement for many people.

All stories begin from Mike Hughes (61 years old), a captain of the Fire Department in Washington, United States, 17 years ago.

That night, a house in Washington caught fire in such a huge fire.

The whole house was destroyed devoured by fire and house building also almost collapsed.

As he and his coworkers struggled to spray water on the scene, a warning from the team members said there were still people inside the house.

Mike ran to the ground for a victim who was trapped inside.

The sound of baby crying in the basket was so strong and Mike immediately lifted and picked him up.

Mike ran out of the house to hand over the nine-month-old baby to his partner.

The baby is Dawnielle Davison, who is currently a high school student.

A few years later, Mike tries to find out what Davison he once saved from a fire.

Mike contacted Davison via his Facebook account.

"I sent him a message, that I think he was the baby I saved when the fire," said Mike quoted from ABCnews.

Unexpectedly, Davison replied to Mike's message and they continued to communicate.

Mike and Davison often meet and attend father-son events on various occasions.

"She thinks of me as her second father, her adoptive father, and we often spend the time to come to the fathers day and day festival," Mike continued.

The thing that really amazed Mike was when Davison sent him a high school graduation invitation.

"I was so moved, I did not think he would think of me like this, I saved him, but he seemed to think I was his own father,"

Mike also attended Davison graduation ceremony with feelings of pride and pride.

While delivering his graduation speech, Davison specifically expressed his gratitude to Mike.

"Thanks for saving my life, without Mike, I can never stand here, thank you, Mike has given me a chance to stay alive," Davison said in his speech.
