Connect to God's Word for you

Acts 27:21-26 KJV
[21] But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.
[22] And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship.
[23] For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,
[24] Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.
[25] Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.
[26] Howbeit we must be cast upon a certain island.

As I said in my previous post, we must put our hope on God during this time of Storm and another way to put our hope on God is to connect to God's word for us.

The word of God is a full package and God sends His Angels to us every time to give us the word of hope that will sustain us in any situation we find ourselves.

In verse 24 of the above text, when the angel of God came to Paul, he brought the word of God that was needed for that situation to Paul. For every situation we face in our lives, there is a particular word of God for that situation. What we should do is to search out God's word and connect to it. We must devote more time searching out the word of God than listening to trending news about the situation so we don't get distracted.

We should also know that everyone connected to the word of God is carrying a Prophetic Grace which will cover the people around him or her.

There were 276 people in the ship which experienced stormy situation. However, there was a servant of God in the person of Paul who carried the the prophetic grace of preservation. By the virtue of the connection of the people with Paul in the ship their lives were preserved. You must never look down on the prophetic grace you carry even in the midst of storm and you must realise that people around you will benefit from it.
Hosea 12:13 - And by a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.
