Keeping Hope Alive in the Midst of Storm

Good day to you all. Hope you are all staying safe and how is the situation around you. It's no more news that the whole world is in a serious situation and the only one that can safe the world is the Almighty God. All we need to do is to put our hope on Him.

The current world situation inspired this post which I titled Keeping Hope Alive in the Midst of Storm as we are already in the midst of storm. I am happy to bring to you all this message of hope.

A stormy situation is that which is marked with turbulence, unrest, crises, confusion and so on. Storm is a part of human experience. As humans we are bound to experience one form of Storm or the other. Some storms may be foreseen and predictable while some may be unforseen and unpredictable. The question is not whether we are going to face stormy situations, but how to survive the situation. Hope is a key which is needed to survive such situation but if hope is lost then survival becomes difficult if not impossible.

Acts 27:21-26 KJV
[21] But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.
[22] And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship.
[23] For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,
[24] Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.
[25] Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.
[26] Howbeit we must be cast upon a certain island.

The text above is the story of Paul's journey to Rome. Paul as a Roman prisoner was being taken to Rome on the sea. The journey was a stormy and dangerous one but Paul kept his hope alive and at the end everyone on board with him 276 arrived their destination all in peace and alive.

And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.

So, let all keep hope alive and I pray that non of us, our family members and friends will be carried away with this storm in Jesus name. Amen
