EOS Most Elegant Bag/Clutch
I was cleaning my craft corner and looked in my drawers and saw rests of fabric. I found rests of faux crocodile leather and satin lining. I used it few years ago for my winter coat.
It has silver glitters which gives the bag an elegant look. I have made many 3D designs with Steemit logo. But this time I wanted to do something else. An EOS Clutch! This is my first time making a clutch.
For my male readers, I wrote Bag, because maybe men don't know what a clutch is. :-). If you google clutch you will see this:
(On the picture below you see my left eyebrow is darker than my right, it's the camera! In the mirror they have the same colour).
Let's have a look inside! I made a large pocket for my phone so my phone will not get scratches from my keys....
I bought magnetic closure for the bag so it can easily open and close and two hooks for the chain. The chain I removed from my old clutch. So basically I paid only for the magnetic closure and the hooks: 5,75 euros.
Making the logo
I use for 3D designing, Fusion 360. Fusion 360 only accept svg. files. So jpg or jpeg is not possible.
I choose to offset the lines. You can also go to Patch and Thicken the lines. But I find it easier and cleaner to use Offset( Model).
There are still gaps. We close it by clicking on Extend and we extend the lines.
Now we remove all lines we don't need using Trim.
Making the Clutch
So, as I told you before, I used rests of material. For the clutch itself the faux crocodile leather and inside, the satin lining.
First I made the patterns with the desired measurements.
Cutting patterns on the fabric. Making sure the stroke in the middle is nice in line.
For (faux) leather we need a special leather needle.
Now we start sewing!
Attaching the magnet closure.
The two hooks for the chain need loops.
This is clutch without the EOS logo.
This is the clutch with the EOS logo with the chain. I used superglue to attach the logo. I had to be fast and precise!
The clutch can be used without the chain by just hiding the chain inside the clutch.

Thanks @blazing :-)
OMG! You did it?? I so appreciate your creativity!! I would pay 300$ for this one if it was branded!!! If I would find it in a vintage second hand shop I would pay 90-130$ =) GREAT JOB by the way, you are an artist!
Thanks @sandrarina.life ! Yes, i did it :-). Wow! 300$ is a lot :-) i would make every other day a bag, so 3x 300 x 4 weeks= 3600 $ 🤑 a month
I don't think everybody would pay that amount. Maybe in Europe or US, and if it was a brand. But you should think about making it a business :)
:-)
