DailyCelestialChallenge Friday-LoveBeautyFreedom (Relationship between love, beauty and freedom.)

"What beauty is the one that will save the world", someone asked once, this question has made many reflect, many consider that "beauty is the key to mystery and call to the transcendent". Prince Myskin offers us an answer: it is the cross and more specifically the contemplation of the Crucified Christ, who manifests and represents the immeasurable love of the Creator for his creature, capable of sacrificing his Son. I think, and this is a free interpretation, that this beauty and this love rest fundamentally in the freedom of Christ, insofar as they do not take away his life, but it is he who gives it (Jn 10, 17-18).

Freedom is incorporated into beauty with the same exclusivity and perpetuity with which being is in love. Without the gift of being, there is no love, without freedom, beauty can not call transcendence or invite contemplation of the mystery of Jesus Christ, in whose face man discovers himself, in all his beauty, as the image of God. Beauty originates in the free encounter of beings, of God and of man, this encounter invites you to live these three powerful words by bending your knees before the Nazarene with a confident: Abba!

Knowing oneself leads, inevitably, to recognizing God's image (beauty) and recognizing that it responds to a creative act (love). This illumination (beauty) of reason leads to freedom to respond to that creative act of God, by which we are invited to transcend and participate, through the vocation to love, to contemplation of the Most Holy Trinity, which is the true sense of existence. But responding to that Love that comes to meet us (1 Jn 4:19) with love will always depend on the intensity of our freedom; freedom that without hindrance will experience beauty and the most intense love in union with God
