Wow! This is a no nonsense granny! Serves Bobby and Glenda right for wanting to do the old lady in for some inheritance. They both got a deadly hole for their pains.
Reading this was a delight. I think i would check out @mariannewest's blog. I am liking freewrites the more.
Very creepy story, I would say in "Tarantino" style where you do not like but everyone go to watch it. Interesting, written and the end is really unexpected. I am glad I do not have such Grandma :)
Thanks! Actually, on a Saturday the #freewrite group has an option of doing a single prompt 5 minute freewrite. Or @mariannewest gives us the three prompt weekendfreewrite! She posts three prompts and you have five minutes to write each part (one prompt at a time, no peeking). Usually the first two prompts are the first sentence or two of the each part. So that is why it seems longer (because it is) and if you look you can see three dots (...) which I put in place to indicate the next prompt begins. Check out @mariannewest's page to have a look at the prompts (even if you don't have a go this time!).
