Merry Christmas to us all beautiful people of steem Cameroon. I'm glad to take part in this contest, #mybestday. I'll be sharing with you my best day of the week which was on Friday the 16th. It was the kids closing day and they were celebrating their Christmas party.

Morning Preparations

We woke up to a bright morning and the kids were so excited about their school's event. They left the house at 7:30am even though the Christmas party was to start at 9am. On my part I wasn't verse with school Christmas parties so I was a lil anxious on how the event was going to unfold.

After the kids left for school, I prepared and followed them. I got to the school just before the party began. It started with prayer,a welcome speech from the headmistress and then the activities began.
It was an awesome day, having to see children of different ages displaying wonderful👌 songs and sketches.

At School

Firstly the pre-nursery children were brought to do their presentation. Aside from 3 children who were dancing and saying their rhymes, the others stood looking at the crowd while others were seriously crying their eyes out.

You can imagine children below 3yrs old facing a crowd for their very first time to do a presentation. After them came the nursery kids who sang lovely Christmas songs performing different matching gestures relating to their rhymes😊. Primary kids took over sketches, poems and dancing. Oh what nice moves they made. I couldn't stop playing the video when I got back home😅.

Father Christmas

Then Father Christmas came in at the end of all the presentations to close the celebrations. The children shouted and jumped with joy upon seeing him. They were so excited he was present at their party.

The children went to their classrooms to receive their report cards while Father Christmas went round their classrooms distributing their gifts, sweets and balloons.
On a personal note, it was an exciting experience for me. Being my first time attending a Christmas party, it sure was worth it and I loved how the activities were done.

We returned home and not much was left to do until we called it a 'day'.
