Filipino traveler: A budget trip to Belgium

I can say that the best walking distance city trip is located in the heart of Brussels Central. Due to its modern architecture, Victorian-inspired building, international restaurants, snack bars, jewelry shops, souvenir shops, tourist attractions and more. Everything you can find it here, so better take time strolling. 

Upon stepping out the train station, we saw enormous  building structures that strikes us fancy. I went with my husband @cannabissativa to explore what this city can offer further.

 The buildings truly leave us a WOW FACTOR. 

As a Filipino, we always up for an experience and taking whole lots of pictures is a must especially when traveling to other countries! Spending expensive stuff for food and other activities is not mainly the cup of tea (or depends if you are extremely craving for one lol). 

If you are a backpacker and wanted to have a budget-wise adventure, it's necessary to spend your money wisely on something very important.

We passed by the famous MANNEKEN PIS and by far, I really wonder what something special in this photo and why so many people are taking photos of this. Hence it is just simply a urinating boy statue and it's very tiny hehe ;P

According to Wikipedia, it represents the people in Brussel where they are characterized with humour and independence of mind, it is also believed that he is one of the saviour in the city.  ;)

Here are some buildings around the city. It is raining so we didn't capture so much .

We are impressed buy this Victorian building  Place du Grand Sablon  where you can see luxurious things, from food-chocolate-cafes-jewelry shop. It's the famous shopping area in Brussels. For those antiques lover , this is definitely a place for you. :) 

Our trip ended up meeting my Filipina friend from Belgium. We get along well, had a blast and feels very excited seeing each other again.  She lives in Belgium for 3 years now and I was impressed how fluent she is to speak Dutch and Belgian. So lovely seeing her. 

We chat about love ,  life and of course Steemit. I introduce her how great this community is. A lot of sharing stories <3 

We met at Brussels Grand Place or GroteMarkt in  Dutch ,it is in the central square in Belgium and well-known as a Unesco Heritage tourist site. The structures was glamourous! It isjust super ganda, super mooie, super beautiful!! The best place in Belgium I've seen so far. 

Busy people, fun-loving environment. A must  to visit! ^_^

He's drinking a Belgian beer originated 1000 years ago! Well yes, the bottle is very big. lol :P 

Me and my lover, always made it to travel together and have things productive. It was a short trip but well worth to experience. 

I highly recommend  you to book AirBnB when  you want a place to sleep, because prices here is very expensive, while Airbnb will cost less than half of the regular price in the hotel. :)
