Our Flawed Monetary System & Why it is Doomed

in #monetary6 years ago

Many believe the American system is on its last legs.

A lot of these people attribute it to the monetary system we operate under and how it pits the public versus private sector against each other. The United States keeps running up debt it has no interest in paying back. This means that servicing the debt is vital to keep churning out more debt.

This creates an issue when the public debt is sucking up so much of the new money. This means that small business which will expand the economy are passed over. The public sector swallows up most of the money that goes to servicing the existing load.

The money is not even put into schools, roads, or healthcare.
