Random Balcony Views of Sunset Bangkok Thailand Sublime Sunday

I have sunsets off the balcony in Bangkok Thailand today for Sublime Sunday by @c0ff33a. I found all of these in my old "Golden Hour" contest folder.

I really miss that contest, and here are a few shots that never made it in and some random thoughts to go along with them. None of them is really a golden color, and so this is why they failed to make the cut.

All of these photos are straight out of the camera. My wifi issues are not over and will not be soon. So I am making do. I think this first shot would be a lot better with processing. I could bring out the blue and the darks to good effect.

These next two were taken within moments of each other, and show completely different color.

Why? I do not know. I was using a Canon ELPH160 point and shoot camera at the time and not playing with settings.

I love this one; looking like smoke is coming out of the utility pole.

And very strange light steaks when I moved my camara a bit to the left.

And stranger still just a moment later.

Different day, darker sky.

with some kind of odd blue hole.

And now for something completely different.

My new balcony in Malaysia is not as exciting or distracting. I have lovely views north, but no sunsets or dawn. Maybe I get more work done this way!
