Red roses are a widely known symbol of love, passion and courage, so they are popular gifts for Valentine's Day, like the ones I got here. This is my entry for the VALENTINE'S DAY PHOTO CONTEST 2019 by @flamingirl. I post 3 photos from different angles as proof that they are my photoworks. More details can be provided if necessary.

Here's a bit history and legend about roses. Earliest roses are known to have grown 35 million-years ago, and from ancient Egyptian tombs, petrified rose wreaths have been unearthed.

In Greek mythology, Aphrodite, Goddess of Love, is said to have created the rose. According to the poet Anacreon, sea foam dripping from her newborn body turned into white roses; thus symbolizing her innocence and purity. Later, her wounded lover Adonis' blood was shed onto a white rose, and the red rose represented her desire and passion.

The Romans, with their counterpart Goddess of Love - Venus, also adopted the rose as a symbol of love and beauty. Cupid offered a rose to bribe the God of Silence to hush his mother Venus's affairs. And when he shot arrows at bees which had stung him, thorns grew from the rose stems where the bees were missed.

There's even The War of the Roses. In this civil war in England in the 15th century, the House of York adopted a white rose, while the House of Lancaster chose a red rose. At last, the winner - Tudor Henry VII created the Tudor Rose by merging his Lancastrian rose with the red rose of his York bride. This Rose is also known as the Rose of England.

小说里，热烈的红玫瑰最终转变为贤慧的他人妻，圣洁的白玫瑰却苍凉地失去了自我。哪个更好？哪个更合适？何止婚姻是围城，这世上又有什么重大决定不是呢？

Greetings friends

Today, my husband is working, so I searched the PC, a photograph that suits the occasion, and what better than this picture ...

This romantic kiss was on the Island of the Turtle - Venezuela.

The most important thing on this day is to show our sincere love and enjoy the company of that special person.

Ok, today is S.Valentine's day, and with this post I want to try to partecipate to the contest that @flamingirl created for us.

This is a photo I took some time ago, but I think is perfect fot this day. Obviously... roses!

Even it was a cloudy day, the red colour can be the protagonist of the picture. Also the bockeh help to give more deep to the composition. For the bokeh I have to thank the Google Camera App and the little lens of my LG G6!

I hope you like it and you like this rose as a gift in this day!

Bene, oggi è il giorno di S.Valentino e con questo post voglio provare a partecipare al contest che @flamingirl ha pensato per noi.

Questa foto è stata scattata qualche tempo fa, ma penso sia perfetta per questo giorno. Ovviamente... rose!

Anche se era una giornata nuvolosa, il colore rosso riesce ad essere il protagonista dell'immagine. Anche la sfuocatura del fonto (bokeh) aiuta a dare più profondità all'intera composizione. Per lo sfuocat odevo ringraziare l'app Google Camera e la piccola lente del mio LG G6!

Spero vi piaccia e che apprezziate questa rosa come regalo!

Love is the only thing that grows when it is distributed, this phrase was written by the author of El principito and will probably be one of the phrases that is said today February 14 to celebrate Valentine's Day. For My entry to the 2018 VALENTINE'S DAY PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST by @flamingirl. I chose this photograph because I consider it a wonderful emblem for Valentine's Day, this photo is very special for me since I took it a few years ago in my parents' house in a small celebration when my parents were celebrating 50 years of marriage , they seemed to be in love with each other because these 50 years together has not diminished their love on the contrary it has united them more, every day I feel very proud to be the daughter of this wonderful couple the masters, this photo for me is priceless.
In the photos below I attest that the photos are my belongings and in which I leave in two of them (I am the one in the red blouse).
