Hike To The Top

Today my dad and I took a hike to Bynuten, a mountain top in our area. The hike is about 12km (7,5miles) and takes 4-5 hours to get back to the parkinglot at Seldalsheia, btw parking is free. Starting point is at an elevation of 293moh (960ft above sea level) and the mountain top is at 671moh (2200ft above sea level).
Alright, lets start...

Looking back at the parking lot (I forgot to take a picture of the info sign you can see the back of at the parking lot)

Well, that was the last picture before I had to put my camera in my backpack because of the rain.
If you ever go on this hike or any hikes, remember to bring water, food and warm clothes.
Stay safe in the mountains!

Great pics! Such an adventure.

Thank you! and thank you for the resteem :) I have a tip for you, when you upload pictures to Steemit you should optimize them first, Atm I have a slow internet connection and it takes ages to load your Koi Pond post. so what you do is to optimize the images using imageoptimizer.net, upload the optimized images to Steemit. and you can do as I do, I upload the images to postimg.org and just link to the original file in the post. anyway, have a good one and thx again :)

wow, it looks like there are mountains everywhere where you can reach them with your zoom :) very beautiful!

thank you. the whole country is mountains, and I have a lot of fun playing around with the zoom

Great thorough post documenting your hike. With all the pictures, I felt like I was hiking along with you :) Seemed like quite a haul! Were you tired afterwards?

thank you. that was my plan so you dont need to take the hike, but you certainly can if you ever are in the area. I can promise you I was tired after 4 hours walking, and my shoes gave me 3 blisters, so I need to get me some new shoes. glad you liked it :)

Nice pictures @flatman. Looks like a nice trip (so good with blueberries) ;)

thx man! It's always good to eat what nature gives you ;)
