The incredible Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 | Mission 1 (part 1) overview (Campaign)
Call of Duty is a game that has been criticized over the last few years, its decline began with the release of Infinity Warfare, a game that left much to be desired and generated a lot of disappointment in the community, but despite this, Activision knew how to handle things and with this latest release the big company has managed to create a masterpiece that I personally loved.
But without a doubt, Modern Warfare 2019 is a complete masterpiece, showing the crude side of war and at the same time giving us a new history. A new Call of Duty that begins to be everywhere.
The campaign starts with a tv transmission of Al-Qatala, a terrorist organization who will be the main enemy of the campaign, after that transmission we will start as Alex (Hitman 3-1), a C.I.A. operative who will be on our first mission in Verdansk. At this point I noticed the incredible detail level the game has, the experience of playing this masterpiece is truly incredible.
As a shooter, it is to be expected that there will be many shots and action, this did not take long to be noticed. Although it seemed a bit crude to me, in a way I like the idea of demonstrating how crude war can be in reality. Before the mission begins, we are told that we should not kill Russian soldiers, as this would lead to international problems, which would make things more complicated.
Before assaulting the base where the gas we are looking for is located, we request an airplane to bomb the base. In this way it will be much safer for us and we will be able to begin the infiltration. When we enter the base we can see how some of the soldiers are burned alive by the attack asking for help and this is what I mean by crude, but there is nothing we can (and don't want to) do for them.
After beginning to advance in the base, we will find the place where the gas is located, but when entering the place, they cut the light. Then, being in the dark and using flashlights, we begin to advance and we are able to assassinate the soldiers inside without any problem. To our surprise, these soldiers are Russian soldiers, here begin our problems.
Alex advises the commander to abandon the mission, but she says they can't because the command wants the mission to be completed, so there's no choice.
In the next room where we find the Russian soldier, we find the gas, Alex confirms this and we can leave the base. Taking the truck where the gas is and a couple of cars to escort the truck we leave the base. As soon as we leave the base a group of insurgents attack the soldiers in an ambush and practically all of them die except Alex, having a lot of luck because the insurgents noticed that they were American soldiers (apparently they thought they were Russian soldiers) and left him alive
It just all went wrong and the plan failed, Laswell (I forgot to mention her, Laswell is the person who commanded the mission), had an discussion with the commander because it's all her fault, which is why she turns to one of the most iconic characters in the Call of Duty saga: Captain Price.
Personally, I was very touched by the presentation Activision gave to Price, the seriousness and the way they bring this character back to life is simply fantastic. Captain Price is present in the saga since the first Call of Duty, I remember that in the Call of Duty 4 there was a mission where we had to carry MacMillan behind our backs to the extraction point, I remember that mission because it was incredibly difficult because of the number of enemies there was, just a suffering.

I'm not a big fan of CoD either, but i like the way you presented this article. It is very unlikely that I am ever going to actually play this because i am not a fan of FPS games but i'm happy that you do! Keep it up pal.
