Update #18, Chess League in Nueva Esparta - Results of the Sambil International Tournament

With the enthusiastic participation of 95 chess players, on Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 October took place the "X Open International Chess Tournament Sambil Margarita" at the Food Fair of the aforementioned shopping center.

Domingo Savio School, UDO, Financonsult, UETD, Playa El Ángel School, Maneiro Youth, Mapis, Luisa Cáceres de Arismendi, Margarita Cultural Center, Mucuraparo are the clubs that participated in this fair as well as trebejistas from Anzoátegui and Bolívar.

Open Group IRT in Absolute and infantile sub-14 IRT, sub-12 IRT and sub-10-8 IRT in masculine and feminine, were the categories that participated in this competition under the system of fast game in Swiss system Individual in nine interesting rounds. This event is valid for the International Fast Chess Ranking endorsed by the Venezuelan Chess Federation (F.V.A.).

Juan Pablo Lyon (UETD), took the honors in Absolute Open, reaching 8 points out of nine possible, followed by Humberto Gomez who added 8 units and with 6 points Jeancarlos Garcia won the third seat.
