A Gypsy Moment ~ Beautiful East Jerusalem

Jerusalem is one of the oldest cities in the world. The  old city of Jerusalem is located in the Eastern part of the city. The Eastern city was captured from Jordan during the Six Day War of 1967.  This is a pamoramic view of the city taken from our last trip to the Middle East. 

The Eastern city includes the Old city of Jerusalem with it's ties to King David. There are many holy sites included in the Old city including  the temple mount with the Western Wall, Dome of the Rock, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.  Just outside the walled city stands the Garden Tomb.  The Old City is a World Heritage Site.
