Introduction

Dear team, I am making my weekly report as a Nigerian representative. Its already 7 days since I did my last report. A lot of things have happened in-between. My work cuts across recruitment, Steem promotion, mentorship and supporting newbies so that they can stand on their feet and make more progress. Here are my activities for the last 7 days.

1. Remaining in Club75 - Powered up 155 Steem

Remaining in club75 has been a priority. I watch my earnings closely and ensure that 3/4 of it is powered up. So for the last 7 days, I powered up 155 Steem in total. As such, I am still in club75 as show below:

2. Restarting our Community Updates

For almost 1 month now, we have not published our community update. This is due to some internal circumstances beyond our control. However, I have been able to sort it out and everything is fine right now. I prepared the first community update and it is truly rich. Take a look below:

3. Launching a New Contest to Promote weekend activities

I have discovered that on weekends, there is less activity across communities and this is also affecting us. So I decided to improve weekend activity in the community by laucnching a contest called My Sunday and I. There was an impressive 8 participants for the contest on its launch. I hope that the second edition tomorrow will be more interesting. You can read about the project below.

4. Curation activities

I support my members through curation. When I recruit and mentor them, I also need to vote their posts as they make progress. So in the last 7 days, here is my curation activities using my account and the community account.

5. Regular Weekly Contests

I make sure that my community members have something to keep them busy and stimulate their creativity. We usually have at least one contest running which members that wish are free to participate. Below is the community contest for the current week.

6. Quality Publications

I trail newbies and our members the importance of making quality publications. I need to show them what a quality publication looks like. So each week, I try to make as many quality publications as I can. A lot of our members are learning from my example and are improving the quality of their articles.
