This is a list of the most popular or popular pseudosciences among the many that exist. The word "pseudo" means false, meaning that they are false sciences. This is because it is a discipline that presents itself as scientific or that imitates the forms of a science, although it is not recognized as such by the traditional scientific community. They develop knowledge that can not be verified reliably. As the average taringer does not like to read, I will be concise with each one.

• ACUPUNCTURE:

• ALCHEMY:

• ASTROLOGY:

Very old pseudoscience. A set of beliefs that postulate causal relationships between the stars and the personality of individuals, trying to predict future events of people or things. Here are also the signs of the zodiac.

• BIOMAGNETISM:

New medical discipline that tries to cure diseases with magnets. It allows us to understand the disease from the energetic point of view, and vibrational, no longer chemical, no longer clinical, no longer biological.

• CEREALOGY:

Discipline that studies the images of corn crops and similars, made by extraterrestrial assumptions.

• CRYPTOARKOLOGY:

Study of a fictitious and fanciful archeology, such as saying that the ark of Noah existed and say that the pyramids are millions of years old.

• CRYPTOZOOLOGY:

Study of hypothetical animals unknown to zoology; Supposedly hidden animals.

• DIANETICS:

Symbol of Dianetics

It is one of the beliefs of the Scientology sect. It is defined as "what the soul is doing to the body". When the mind negatively affects the body, it is described as a psychosomatic condition. Psycho refers to "mind or soul" and somatic refers to "body". Thus, psychosomatic diseases are physical diseases caused by the soul.

• FENG SHUI:

Ancestral art based on the Chinese cosmogony, which seeks to improve the environmental conditions that promote well-being and the general harmony of the individual with his environment.

• FRENOLOGY:

Pseudoscience intended to explain by means of the detailed inspection of the skull of the individual characteristics such as the mental capacity, character and personality of the same.

*GRAPHOLOGY:

The study of the supposed relationship between writing (forms and traits) and personality of the individual.

• HOMEOPATHY:

Homeopathy is possibly the most fashionable pseudomedicine in recent times. Homeopathy is a system of alternative medicine based on the premise of "the similar cures the similar": a substance that causes the symptoms of a disease in healthy people will cure similar in sick people.

• NUMEROLOGY:

Divination practice using numbers.

• PARAPSYCHOLOGY:

Pseudopsychology dealing with paranormal phenomena, such as telepathy, telekinesis, etcetera.

• PYRAMIDOLOGY:

Beliefs that postulate that the pyramids were made by aliens and that they serve as spacecraft or prediction calendars, etcetera.

• PSYCHOANALYSIS:

Pseudoscientific theory about unconscious psychic processes, which presents an expanded conception of sexuality and speaks of complexes of Oedipus and other fallacies. Includes psychoanalytic psychosomatics.

• PALMISTRY:

Predicting the future by reading the lines of the hands.

• RADIESTESY:

A pseudoscientific activity based on the assertion that electrical, electromagnetic, magnetismal, and radiation stimuli of an emitter body can be perceived and-sometimes-handled by a person by simple artifacts held in unstable suspension like a pendulum, Forks that amplify the capacity of the human being.

• UFOLOGY:

It is the study of UFOs (object unidentified flying), postulating the existence of extraterrestrial beings.

• HOMEOPATHY

A curative method of some diseases that is based on the application of small amounts of substances that, if applied in great proportions to a healthy individual, would produce the same symptoms that are intended to combat.
