THE DIARY GAME SEASON 3 (2020-12-02): National Special Education Day
Beginning in 1971, a U.S. District Court case in the District of Columbia, Mills v. Board of Education, ruled it unlawful to deny exceptional children, including those with mental and learning disabilities publicly funded educational opportunities. Court cases like this led to the 1975 Education for All Handicapped Children Act which was signed by President Gerald Ford on November 29th. The federal legislation required states that accept federal money to provide equal access to children with disabilities. Additional protections were added in 1986 to support parents and educators in creating an education plan for children with disabilities. In 1990, the Education for All Handicapped Children Act was renamed the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and improved access for all children with developmental delay. Through the years, the act has been enhanced to improve services and standards throughout the educational system.Source
Dear diary.
I was up late last nite. I got up from bed late. I was trying to flask an Apple iPad, which I did not finally succeed. It's 6:15 am, that I notice I was still in bed. Lol. I jump up, rush, and took my bath. With limited time, my wife did prepare my daughter and made our breakfast. We had our breakfast, and my wife could not catch up with time to prepared my daughter's lunch box. so I will have to get something at the grocery shop for her. We past at the shop, I got her snacks and milk. We took a cab(taxi), drop at her school, and walk her to her class.
The fact that I was late, I had to do a faster walk to the office. I had to walk fast to make sure I'm I get to the office on time. I have the keys to the office. Yeah, it always dusty. I did the cleaning and set up my self for the day. Update my to-do list. I will be working on the web platform for adverts. I had to work on the projects, but today will be going through the client's revive and updating the side.
It was 2:30 pm. I had to pick my girl from school. I pick her, and we got home. I did not have lunch, so rush back to the office because I wanted to see a friend who had to travel out of town. I meet him back at the office, and we talk before went to the agency. I continue working until about 5 pm that I close for the day.
I did my usual walk home, had some time with my family. We all had dinner while I was waiting to watch the UEFA champion league match beating Barcelona and Ferencváros. Since the COVID outbreak, Games have not been interesting to me due to the lack of spectators. Lol. It was a one-sided match, meaning FCBacelona overplay Ferencváros. Well, they try their best, which for me was good. In the end, I went straight to bed.
