The Diary Game Season 3 [Thursday February 16th 2023 ]

Greeting Friends

It is another moment for me to share moments of my day. It was a day without electricity, and such days might end up not being a good day for me. Electricity is the cord of everything I do, power my laptop, which is the main tool for my operations at the office. We need electricity to power the modem for internet connection, etc.

Because of the lack of electricity, the previous night, I had to go to bed early. Since I slept early, I was up too early. By 3 am, I was up, and the electricity was not back. I can’t do anything but stay in bed doing nothing. My phone was down already, and I didn't want it to completely go off. So, I was not manipulating the phone to save the right power for the early period of the day. At 6 am, I woke up my daughter to start preparing for school.

I was ready for work when my daughter was still having breakfast. I have to wait for a while since I will have to drop her at school before getting to my place of work. I got to the office, and the other line had electricity. At the office, we have two lines, in case there is no electricity on one. We will switch to the other if no supply of electricity on the other means no electricity in the whole town. I was happy and quickly connected my devices while cleaning and setting up myself for work. Not up to an hour thirty minutes, the electricity is gone. This time it confirmed that it was the whole town, so the next option is the generator.

Fuel prices have gone up, and my colleagues have stepped out. I did not have the motivation to turn on the generator, so I decided to go to a friend's office. They have the solar option for electricity during moments like this. I got there, I was given space, and I set up. I needed electricity to work with a client out of town. He had problems, checking emails and fixing some changes on the website. It was time to pick up my daughter from school. This office is close to my daughter, so I left early. so, I had to wait for a while for the exact time to pick up my daughter.

We had a walk home, usually after school when she was excited. My daughter will ask us to walk back home and use a particular direction. So, we went home, and my wife and son were not available. So, I took some time to keep my daughter company while waiting. Since I had to rush back, I decided to leave her to go back to the office.

When I got to the office, the electricity was back on. So, I complete the work for the client. The client was using Zoho mail on their previous host before migrating to our host. I was done with the configuration and promised to do testing the next day. At that moment I closed for the day and took a taxi to the barber salon.

I needed to shave, and I could feel it. I was busy, and many have been asking me to shave. LOL. From the barber salon, I walk home. My wife was in the kitchen, so I accompanied her, and we had a few minutes of chat before I was on the Tv to watch the evening news. It was after the evening news broadcast on national television that I had my dinner.

It was one of the special meals, which usually take some time to prepare. I enjoy my dinner, relax for a while and drop my diary game post before finally retiring to bed.
