Main Dishes Recipes #6: Pasta with seafood

Yesterday, I bought a mix of fresh seafood and I decided to use them as pasta sauce. The result was delicious, so here's the recipe.

Ingredients (for 3 people)

  • 200 g linguine (or spaghetti)
  • 100 g fresh mussels
  • 120 g of clams
  • 100 g ring shrimps
  • tomato sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • chili pepper powder
  • olive oil
  • basil

Directions

  1. Fill a sauce pan with water and heat it until it reaches boil, then add the linguine and let it cook for a couple of minutes less than what's written on the packaging.
  2. In the meantime, put two garlic cloves with some oil in a saucepan, cook it for a couple of minutes, then add the tomato sauce.
  3. When the sauce is hot, add the mussels, clams and shrimps and let it cook for around 15 minutes, adding some chili pepper powder at the end.
  4. Then add the pasta to the seafood sauce together with 2 cooking water spoons and stir-fry for a couple of minutes before serving. Add some fresh basil at the end.
