Across the viaduct !!!!!!!!
Hello everyone,
I would like to share today something really close to me. And I start. :P .
I was and I am a travel fan. I am not saying this because I dream of it, but because I have been in that dream that I always want to stay in that only. But then I am a great art fan too. Colors are my all time partners no matter where I go. Other times, whenever I see colors, or combinations of colors, shapes and size that please me, I happen to capture those all and put on my sketchpad.
This too, the one I am sharing today is result of one such thing. During the late summers, my papa asked me to come with him to Haridwar( a holy place of India). It's a spiritual place and hence I didn't want to join n thinking of it as one boring trip from my early experiences. But I had no choice then to go.
The trip began like expected but took a twist in between. After spending day in haridwar and taking the holy bath, we were left with nothing to do then to go somewhere nearby.
My grandma asked to go to some Shiva place and we decided to go to Neelkanth. And while we were on our way, we slowed down to check the board for remaining kilometers that we saw badrinath there on the board and my tongue slipped saying let's go to badrinath papa" I was in huge shocked when papa said yeah. let's do it then.
He had never been that adventurous before. I guess he is inspired by me :P So we took our turn towards Badrinath. And a hell of journey started.
While we were on our way to this beautiful destination with the river ganga following us all the way through, we saw a change in her colour. From the soil brown, it was turning sea green. The most beautiful thing was to witness the merge of the brown and the beautiful green. The moment i saw this i was desperate to go there and look closer to it. I told my father about my wish to go closer to which he agreed instantly.
We had to trek down a bit to reach there and cross a bridge too. Here come the bridge of my inspiration. I took a random picture of the bridge without giving any thought. We reached the point of the river merge. We took a bath there and it was scarier closer. The flow of water was quite high than it seem from up. But it was fun though.
So.this was the part of my great trip that I experienced and which I would be sharing in my next post. Here's the picture of the bridge i took which later become one of the inspiration for my fine art project submission.
and here's the artwork inspired by the same
